WE HAVE MOVED!

Hello awesome people of the Philippines! It has been almost 3 years since I last updated this blog and until now, am still receiving a lot of questions relating to my first nose job with Dr. Anthony Joson.

Just dropping by to let you know that I have moved to another website. It is more professional-looking and most importantly, it has its own domain, baby!

Line in Between my Eyebrows (Extrusion or Just Normal)

Just a quick background, I have had my nosejob at Med Asia Aesthetic Center in Cainta, Rizal with the help of Dr. Anthony Joson. You can read my rhinoplasty experience here and here. My experience was not flawless though.

The problem that I notice is that I have this line in between my eyebrows and it is visible after I woke up or yawn and it bothers me a lot because it indicates the end of my I-shaped implant. Here is the photo I took using my iPhone's camera with no filter.
What do you think? Is this a sign of extrusion or just normal? I hope someone could enlighten me with this.

Day-7 Post Op by Med Asia and Dr. Anthony Joson (With Photos)

I am overwhelmed with all the emails that I have been receiving after blogging about my rhinoplasty journey with the help of Metro Deal and Med Asia. You can read the PART 1 and PART 2 by clicking the link provided.

In this post, I will be posting some of the photos I have taken a while ago for my 1-week post op timeline. And also, will answer some questions that I have received in my Gmail.

And for those asking about some clinics in Manila that offer Hiko or nose fillers/ nose lifters using threads, I am sorry but I cannot tell you a specific clinic for that. I can only give you some insights about it.

My Rhinoplasty Experience with MedAsia via MetroDeal Coupon (PART 2 with Photos)

So after posting my rhinoplasty or nosejob experience via Med Asia last week, I have been receiving a lot of emails about it.

This post is already part 2 of my experience but today, I am going to show you the result after six days post-op. Yesterday, my nose stitches were removed so it looked cleaner and better now.

Just to give you guys a quick summary, I bought a coupon on Metro Deal that is worth 9,999 pesos for a nose lift procedure from Med Asia (Original price is 35,000).

I just had a problem with the system of Med Asia because my schedule for rhinoplasty was at 1 PM but because of the clinic's tight schedule due to "unexpected" over booking for that day, I have waited until 7 PM before I got the surgery.

And I also did not get the free revision after 30 days unlike my friend who also got his nose done under the same coupon, clinic and Doctor. So unfair!

My Rhinoplasty Experience with MedAsia via MetroDeal Coupon

I finally undergone a rhinoplasty procedure aka nosejob and it was indeed a very long process. It took me so many years of research about it like its side-effects, pro’s and con’s of a silicone implant and of course, possible complications years or months after the rhinoplasty procedure.
Thanks to the forum threads from Pinoy Exchange, Female Network and Purse Blog for all the help and information about rhinoplasty.

Here is my experience with MedAsia via MetroDeal coupon:

A friend of mine showed me this promo from MetroDeal, a website that offers discounted rates for some items, services and some other stuff. It is a 71% off for a rhinoplasty or alar trimming. So I got mine from 35,000 down to 9,999 pesos. You can also opt to buy two coupons for both procedure excluding the post-op medications but I preferred buying only one for my flat nose-bridge because I don’t want it to become too obvious.

I did not pay through DragonPay because I texted MedAsia’s branch in Starmall Mandaluyong and they said that it is fine to pay directly to them.

I called for an appointment on March 9th and they approved it saying that my appointment for Dr. Anthony Joson is going to be at 1 PM.

Here goes my NOT-SO-GOOD experience from MedAsia.

I got there at Starmall by 11 in the morning, had my lunch and headed directly to MedAsia newly opened branch, 3rd floor in front of the cinema. Paid 9,999 and they told me that the Doctor cannot go to St. Francis Square where I was scheduled for the operation so they accompanied me to their branch in Rizal.

We got there around 2 PM and I thought that I was too late. Surprisingly, I was not. The staff told me that there was unexpected thing happened where 5 or 6 people went to their clinic all the way from Quezon to have their breast augmented.

My appointment was 1 PM but I got my nose done by 7 PM.

There is something wrong with their system because why would you schedule someone if you already have a lot of people on the queue for the day? Oh yes, I forgot. MONEY!

I think MedAsia is just after money without thinking of their patient’s time. Imagine, I have waited 5-freaking long hours just to get my nosejob done for only less than 30-minutes!

I can also remember a lot of people inside the operating room saying that my nose would have been better if I also had my alar (side of the nose) trimmed.

Instead of saying good things about my new nose, they have the guts to promote their other services like I really do appreciate it, folks! After everything I have gone through, all I can hear was “it would have been better if yada-yada-yada!”. That’s bullshit!

I am also disappointed with my consulation with Doctor Joson because it was not what I was expecting.

The thing is, I have a lot of things in my mind. I also have tons of photos that I wanted to achieve and hoping to show them to the Doctor but because of the unexpected thing that happened during that day, the consultation was very fast (less than 10 minutes). He only gave me basic information about the procedure and that 1% chance of implant rejection. Things that I already know.
Aside from that very fast and I think incomplete consultation, I was also consulted with another patient so it is not a 1 on 1 talk that happened in there.

But looking forward, I saw some of the works of Dr. Anthony Joson and I can say that they are really good.

As of this writing, I am on my first day of recovery and I look like an avatar character. I have got minimal bruises on both cheeks below my eyes, and reddish swelling on my eyelids and forehead. I have been taking medicines every six hours so pain is not really an issue right now.

I hope that the result is going to be good just as what I imagined and I hope that I won’t go back for a revision or alar trimming.

I will be writing a separate blog post about the before and after photos of my nose bridge. I am also taking daily photos for my timeline.

If you have questions about MedAsia or rhinoplasty in general, feel free to send me an email at deejblogs@gmail.com
